About Us

Beyond Potential Supports is a family-owned business with a purpose and a passion to assist people with disability to live a life beyond limits.

We provide a range of Aged Care and NDIS Accommodation services at our properties in Raymond Terrace as well as offer Community Access services to participants in the surrounding areas. These areas include Maitland, Cessnock, Nelson Bay, Lemon Tree Passage and Tilligerry Peninsula.

We started Beyond Potential Supports in 2022 in response to the growing need for NDIS accommodation in the Lower Hunter. Through our combined experience and expertise in the health industry and disability sector, we wanted to create a new kind of service provider that developed independence and the feeling of belonging to a vibrant community for residents.

It’s absolutely disheartening when we hear of businesses that do the bare minimum for NDIS participants. We believe in setting an example for others to follow and leading the way in providing a service that is founded on respect, builds resilience and offers a strong sense of community to our residents and guests.

That’s why we’re different by design.

We Live by our Values

Be Passionate

We love what we do and who we do it for. We’re only happy when we’re giving our clients and business our all. Spend a little time to get to know us and you’ll find out exactly what we mean.

Be Inclusive

We want everyone to feel part of our communities, both at Beyond Potential Supports as well as within our local community. We’ll continue to challenge the way we think, speak and act to be more inclusive and welcome all within our community.

Be Authentic

Spend a little time with our team and you’ll learn that we’re genuine about everything we do. We believe in being as authentic and transparent as possible in the way we operate and will always tell you exactly how it is, without the fluff.

Be Present

Rather than assume we know what’s best for our residents and guests, we want to better understand their needs. That means we start by being present and listening first, knowing that others can take time to open up and share their needs.

Nikki

Supported Independent Living Coordinators

Nikki is a passionate believer in caring for people with disability and advocating for their rights and needs. She’s worked for more than 15 years in hospitality, predominantly in management roles. Earlier in her career, she chose to support her mother who had lost her sight during an operation. She later developed depression and dementia, so Nikki supported her father in caring for her mum. She joined Beyond to continue her career in the disability sector. While working at Beyond, Nikki’s parents both passed away within a year. While a devastating experience for anyone to go through, Nikki was glad to have the support and care from her team at Beyond to help her during a painful time.

Nikki had completed a Certificate III in Disability and Aged Care in 2014. Now she is currently completing a Certificate IV in Disability and is happy to be working with Beyond and making a real difference in people’s lives.
